Hipsters and History
On Friday I went to a Flavorpill ’One Step Beyond’ party at the Natural History Museum. This is the new hipster scene - people dressed to impress. Unfortunately no impromptu performance by Kayne West this time but no where else in the city would you have a crowd so fired up and ready to party at 10pm. Hitting the planitarium while tipsy was surreal - the universe spinning around you and people yelling “Jupiter rocks”.
The $20 ticket gets you free entry to the museum for one month afterwards so you can follow up with a slightly more educational visit another time. Definitely worth checking out.
