A good friend recently introduced me to “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” - the new series of which has just started on FX. I laughed so hard, which is something I usually reserve for British comedy. Perhaps it’s the complete ireverence and dry humor that has won me over. For those who have not had the pleaaure it is a sitcom created by Rob McElhenney about four friends (played by McElhenney, Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton and Kaitlin Olson) who run an Irish bar, “Paddy’s Pub”, in Philadelphia.
